While surfing the net recently I came across this story from our neighbors in Canada, Vancouver to be more exact. It seems they have laws banning the placing of Fido's "business" in trash receptacles or any other place that would have it end up in the public landfill. They also aren't too keen on Dog owners flushing it down the toilet. So, their solution? Turn Fido's poo into home heating fuel. Some people think this idea stinks. (sorry, couldn't resist), and some can see it as a real possibility. I know i'll be payin' close attention and if the concept does take hold, I'm gonna run out and get a whole herd of Great Danes.
